Job summary

Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with preferred Master’s degree and leadership experience. Licenses/certifications in ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB are required for this leadership position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/related experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Five years' registered technologist experience preferred.
• One year's leadership experience preferred.
• Certification/licensure ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all technical operations of the diagnostic imaging department.
• Ensures timely processing of all patients while prioritizing emergent procedures.
• Monitors and directs RIS and PACS systems.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and patient data confidentiality.
• Supervises diagnostic imaging personnel including staffing and evaluations.
• Manages departmental budgets, salaries, and supply costs.
• Recommends imaging protocol improvements and technology upgrades.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission and state/federal regulations.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
