Job summary

Barrington James is assisting a growing medical device company in the imaging space with a role that sits between production, image reconstruction, and clinical research.

You will be knee-deep in clinical study data, checking repeatability and accuracy of imaging across sites and patients. You’ll benchmark pipelines as software evolves, ensuring improvements are demonstrated, in a hybrid Santa Rosa setup.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on industry experience in imaging or related fields.
• Strong Python skills and Linux comfort.
• Background in medical imaging (MRI/CT/ultrasound); breast imaging is a bonus.
• Exposure to FDA-regulated environments or clinical study data is helpful.
• ML/AI experience is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work with clinical study data to assess imaging repeatability across sites and patients.
• Investigate image reconstruction pipelines and how raw scanner data becomes usable images.
• Benchmark software versions to demonstrate improvements alongside evolving clinical studies.
