Job summary

sharp is seeking a patient transport technician for the Imaging Center to assist with procedures, transport patients to and from the Imaging Center, and support imaging staff during procedures.

The role requires AHA BLS Healthcare Professional, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of patient care experience; weekend work is required as needed. Union membership under SEIU-CBA is required within 31 days of hire.

Qualifications

• AHA Basic Life Support required for Healthcare Professional.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with completing Imaging Center procedures including transportation and monitoring patients.
• Transport patients to and from Imaging Center and during procedures.
• Provide tech assistance and support imaging staff during procedures.
• Greet, escort and ensure patient safety and privacy throughout the visit.
• Maintain accurate patient identification and documentation in system.
• Communicate patient status to nursing and Imaging staff as needed.
• Follow supervision directions and participate in department meetings.
