Job summary

Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health in Oklahoma City is seeking an Imaging Care Associate PRN to support the Imaging team in providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities include preparing patients for tests, transporting patients, answering inquiries, and maintaining a clean, organized environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of patient care experience, plus Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of patient care experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Ability to provide exceptional service and care to patients.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to imaging/radiology.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for testing and/or procedures, including patient positioning.
• Transports patients as requested.
• Responds to inquiries from patients and family members.
• Collaborates with OU Health team to provide care.
• Cleans, disinfects and organizes to keep a welcoming environment.
• Assists with scheduling, clerical tasks, data entry and recordkeeping.
