Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (ABET-accredited preferred).
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Python development skills, particularly for image processing and analysis.
• Experience with computer vision and machine learning frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, YOLO, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Experience interfacing with I/O devices for automation or machine control.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy image analysis solutions to support greenhouse production workflows.
• Apply classical computer vision and deep learning techniques to extract meaningful data from images.
• Integrate imaging systems with automation and control systems (e.g., sensors, actuators, machine interfaces).
• Design and maintain pipelines to transmit image data and derived insights across enterprise networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including automation, infrastructure, and operations.
