Job summary

Actalent is seeking an AI / Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and deploy ML/DL solutions for EO/IR imagery and sensor exploitation. You will build production-grade computer vision pipelines and support real-time and embedded deployments alongside cross-functional teams.

The role requires 8+ years in software engineering and 5+ years in ML/vision model work, with strong Python, CNN, and Linux experience. Remote-friendly with contract work bases in Tucson, AZ.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience developing production-grade applications.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, training, validating, and deploying ML/vision models.
• Experience with imagery analysis, image exploitation, image processing, object detection, classification, segmentation, or pattern recognition.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ML/DL algorithms for EO/IR imagery and sensor exploitation.
• Develop AI solutions for object detection, classification, tracking, segmentation, and pattern recognition.
• Build real-time computer vision pipelines for image and sensor data processing.
