Job summary

Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA is seeking a Radiology Support Aide to assist physicians and technologists during fluoroscopic and radiologic procedures, while upholding ALARA and patient safety standards.

You will work under supervision, help patients in rooms and corridors, maintain supplies, and ensure a clean, safe environment. Requirements include high school diploma, prior healthcare experience, and current AHA CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Experience: Prior Healthcare Experience
• Licensure/Certification: Current AHA CPR/ BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Routinely assists physicians and technologists during fluoroscopic/ radiologic procedures.
• Working knowledge of appropriate employee and patient radiation safety practices that are in compliance with ALARA and state law.
• Take initiative to care for the needs and/or concerns of patients and visitors in procedure rooms, access hallways and waiting areas.
• Working knowledge of sterile/aseptic techniques and/or practices when needed.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness
• Performs related duties as required
