Job summary

Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center in Meyersdale, PA is seeking an Imaging Assistant, PRN, to support radiology teams with patient positioning, exam preparation, and clinical safety. You will assist with equipment checks, prepare contrast under supervision, obtain quality images, track exams, and help schedule in the RIS while maintaining universal precautions and patient care across all ages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.
• 6 months clinical experience in inpatient/outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily equipment inspections, warm up procedures and follow Quality Control Program under supervision of a Technologist.
• Assist Radiologist and Technologist in setting up contrast under supervision; not responsible for injector loading.
• Obtain quality images while following radiation safety standards and protocols.
• Assist with positioning and performing exams adhering to safety and procedural guidelines.
• Track exams, scan scripts, and schedule exams in the Radiology Information Systems.
