Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship seeks an Imaging Assistant to provide direct patient care in Imaging Services. You will help with supplies, stocking, equipment cleaning and patient care while upholding Mercy's mission and service standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and current or soon-to-be BLS certification, with ability to lift, stand, and work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Capable of lifting, moving, and transporting patients; continual standing and walking; recognizing emergencies; adapting to stress; communicating effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care consistent with established Mercy standards.
• Manage supplies, stocking, equipment cleaning and patient care in Imaging Services.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values and service standards.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
