Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking staff to support imaging services, transporting patients, and assisting technologists through procedures. The role includes post-procedure duties, inventory control, and nonclinical departmental support.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in a medical imaging setting. Compliance with HIPAA and security policies is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred 1 year experience in medical office or imaging office setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists technologists with preparing patients for procedures.
• Performs post-procedural duties including patient discharge, room clean up and restocking supplies.
• Assists with inventory control.
• Assists technologists with delivering and retrieving patient reports/imaging, entering data, in electronic medical records, import and export through appropriate means and methods.
• Provides nonclinical support to the department as necessary.
• Any other duties as assigned.
