Job summary

AEVEX Aerospace in Quantico, Virginia is seeking an Imagery Analyst to perform hands-on full motion video exploitation on a 24/7/365 shift schedule, supporting DoD, USMC and IC objectives.

The role requires strong analytical skills, FMV operations knowledge, and the ability to produce standard and tailored imagery products, with metadata support; Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4–10 years of FMV analysis experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct real-time 24/7 FMV exploitation in a shift work environment.
  • Research IC databases to acquire amplifying information in support of analysis.
  • Produce standard and non-standard FMV imagery analysis products and metadata.
  • Analyze imagery to meet USMC requirements, including NRO overhead systems, FMV, and sensors.
  • Create and provide metadata to support DoD/IC initiatives.
  • View and document live FMV exploitation comments at 40+ words per minute.
  • Identify targets via Order of Battle for geolocations, and support exploitation activities.
  • Conduct multi-INT research and dissemination per SOP.

Job description

This is an onsite position in Quantico, Virginia and has 24/7 shift work which can include working days,nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by the client schedule.

Job Overview

The Imagery Analyst is responsible for conducting hands-on full motion imagery analysis, producingintelligence products derived from any airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance platform toinclude imagery analysis on a broad range of issues. In addition they will be supporting national securityobjectives, senior policy makers, the DoD, USMC, and/or IC initiatives.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct real time 24/7/365-366 full motion video exploitation in a shift work environmentmaintaining Situational Awareness (SA) and understanding of the mission and the intelligencerequirements.
  • Research Cedalion or its follow-on and other multi-disciplined IC databases to acquire amplifyingor clarifying information in support of research and analysis.
  • Produce standard and non-standard FMV imagery analysis products, such as motion imagerysummary reports and tailored mission-specific products.
  • Conduct imagery research and analysis by researching imagery to meet current USMCrequirements to include, but not limited to, NRO Overhead Systems, aircraft, FMV, andcivil/commercial sensors to answer detailed Information Requirements.
  • Create and provide metadata to support structured observations in support of the DoD, USMC,and/or IC initiatives.
  • Capable of simultaneously being able to view, exploit, record and touch type (minimum of 40words/minute) live FMV exploitation comments in support of operational FMV missions.
  • Identify targets and target-related activities by understanding Order of Battle for mission relatedgeolocations.
  • Conduct target research in support of exploitation activities to provide amplifying information andcontext to information requirements and to inform the exploitation team.
  • Analyze existing information and intelligence to identify gaps in coverage/knowledge in order toinvestigate all sources of intelligence to fill those gaps.
  • Conduct data mining using various databases, open-source reporting, digital video archives, andother intelligence sources.
  • Provide multimedia production in support of exploitation activities.
  • Provide peer-to-peer assessments when analysts require evaluations and when analysts need tobe tested on their position.
  • Conduct multi-INT research, exploitation, organization, prioritization, processing, analysis,production, and dissemination of intelligence information in accordance with (IAW) Governmentpriorities, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Qualifications and Competencies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information from disparate sources.
  • Knowledge of FMV driven intelligence operations, functions and collaboration supported bySIPRNet and SCINet.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Foreign Military Operations
  • Attention to detail incorporating real time intelligence collection including link analysis, trendanalysis, and predictive modeling.
  • Familiarity with intelligence community standards, tradecraft, and reporting formats.Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamicenvironment.
Education / Certifications
  • High School diploma required
Experience
  • 4-10 years of FMV analysis (Military, IC, and/or Federal Law Enforcement preferred)

Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.

AEVEX provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The range of starting pay for this position is for the listed location only.

Salary Range: $34 — $36 USD
