HCLTech is seeking a highly talented Image Quality Engineer to evaluate, optimize, and enhance camera imaging performance across devices and platforms. You will work with hardware, ISP, algorithms, and product teams to deliver superior imaging experiences.

The role emphasizes testing in lab and field environments, analyzing image quality data, and communicating findings to cross‑functional teams. A passion for photography and problem solving helps drive user‑centric improvements.

Competenze

Experience using professional photography equipment or familiarity with operating equipment in an imaging lab.
Experience in analysing camera image quality test results.
Ability to identify, reproduce, and isolate image quality bugs via visual analysis.
Deep care for the final user experience regarding photography and videography features.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem‑solving skills.

Mansioni

Conduct studies on camera hardware and software prototypes to critically examine camera image quality.
Test in the lab and in the field, capturing image quality datasets for camera development.
Analyse camera output and provide feedback to feature development with cross-functional partners.
File bugs, create reports, and presentations on image quality development.
