Responsibilities
- Operate all department equipment in accordance with established procedures, including performing quality checks, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Accurately enter and track jobs within the manufacturing tracking system to support production flow and traceability.
- Read and interpret shop orders to verify completion of prior operations, confirm product counts, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and support cross‑functional operations to meet production goals and deadlines.
Experience & Education
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Experience in a similar or related manufacturing industry is preferred, but not required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English in a professional work environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8–12 hours) throughout the shift while maintaining productivity and focus.
- Ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds without strain and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to strict quality and safety standards.
