Job description

Scope

As a Production Associate, you will work in a fun, team-oriented environment, operating production equipment and performing a variety of tasks. Your strong attention to detail and safety orientation will play a key role in producing printed circuit boards. We offer training for those who have never worked on printed circuit boards. The Production Associate II in the Fillets department assists in all operations of the department.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Processing of flex/rigid boards and the application of strain relief epoxy to flex/rigid interfaces.
  • Removing cocoons/caps as required per print on flex area.
  • Attending meetings, communicating regularly with managers and supervisors, attending special training, maintaining a clean, safe work environment and reporting any safety hazards and issues to supervisors.
  • Generating, accumulating and handling hazardous wastes generated in daily operations, as directed by the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager.
  • Reporting all accidents, near misses and safety concerns in a timely manner; performing job duties using the required personal protective equipment; full participation in safety training and understanding and following the directions identified in the Job Safety Analysis, PPE assessments, MSDS and all safety procedures and alerts.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • Basic English and mathematical skills; ability to read, write, and follow procedures.
  • Basic understanding and working knowledge of blueprints.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good hand‑eye coordination, reading vision, steady hand, hearing perception, and clear speech.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision; self‑motivated and self‑starter.
  • Comfortable working with and around chemicals/solvents.
  • Ability to work under a microscope.
  • Ability to use small hand tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Work up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, and be flexible to work on weekends.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident due to ITAR requirements.
  • Regular attendance is essential to the position.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
