Job summary

NCCER is seeking an Image Permissions Specialist to secure image usage rights and maintain permissions records for NCCER's curricula. This is an entry-level role that builds relationships with external owners to obtain licensing approvals and ensure all visual content meets publishing standards.

The ideal candidate is meticulous, reliable, and passionate about rights management and documentation, helping ensure NCCER's training materials are publication-ready for classrooms worldwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in image permissions, licenses, or usage rights is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with DAM systems or CRM tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Image permissions and licensing: obtain rights from external owners and organizations.
• Research contacts via company sites, LinkedIn, forms, and other tools.
• Purchase and manage stock licenses; negotiate usage rights and credits.
• Maintain permissions documentation and licenses; track expiration dates.
• Create and update art logs; ensure traceability of image sources.
• Coordinate permissions work across Product Development, Digital Learning, Test Development, and Marketing.
