Job summary

Three Crosses Regional Hospital seeks an Internal Medicine Residency Program Core Faculty member to lead resident education in an outpatient setting and provide clinical supervision within the residency program. The role blends teaching, mentorship, and limited direct patient care.

The position offers an academic environment with opportunities for curriculum development, scholarly activity, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure.
• Demonstrated commitment to resident education and mentorship.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Previous teaching or academic experience preferred.
• Interest in geriatric medicine is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Precept and supervise PGY-1, PGY-2, and PGY-3 Internal Medicine residents in the continuity clinic.
• Provide timely feedback, coaching, and mentorship to residents.
• Assist in evaluating resident performance and competency development.
• Develop and deliver didactic lectures and educational conferences.
• Teach office-based procedures and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous program improvement.
• Attend faculty meetings, residency committees, and educational activities as required.
• Support resident scholarly activities and professional development.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient Internal Medicine care.
