Job summary

Three Crosses Regional Hospital invites applications for an Internal Medicine Residency Program Core Faculty member. The role emphasizes teaching, supervision of residents in the outpatient continuity clinic, and scholarly activity within a balanced clinical and educational schedule.

The candidate will precept PGY-1 to PGY-3 residents, deliver didactic sessions, and contribute to curriculum development while maintaining high-quality patient care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure.
• Demonstrated commitment to resident education and mentorship.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Previous teaching or academic experience preferred.
• Interest in geriatric medicine is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Precept and supervise PGY-1, PGY-2, and PGY-3 Internal Medicine residents in the continuity clinic.
• Provide timely feedback, coaching, and mentorship to residents.
• Assist in evaluating resident performance and competency development.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Develop and deliver didactic lectures and educational conferences.
• Teach office-based procedures and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous program improvement.
• Attend faculty meetings, residency committees, and educational activities as required.
• Support resident scholarly activities and professional development.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient Internal Medicine care.
• Maintain high standards of patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
