Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Physician to join the primary care team at M Health Fairview Clinic – Midway in St. Paul, MN.

The position offers a flexible schedule with 0.8 to 1.0 full-time equivalent and access to a fully integrated EPIC EMR. The practice supports a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment within an ACO focused on quality outcomes, care coordination, and population health management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency training program.
• Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/credentials for Credentialing and Privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care in a 12-provider practice with more than 7 specialists onsite.
• Patient encounters average 18-22 patients per day.
• 34 patient contact hours per week.
• Call Frequency: 1:18 low intensity - phone consultation only with first tier nurse triage.
• As part of Fairview’s Accountable Care Organization (ACO), providers practice in a collaborative, team-based model focused on quality outcomes, care coordination, and population health management.
• Openings: 0.8 to 1.0 FTE (Full Time) - Flexible schedule.
• Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Education

Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency (ACGME/AOA)

Board Certified/Board Prepared (ABMS/AOA)

Minnesota medical licensure or ability to obtain

DEA certification for Minnesota

Credentialing and Privileges eligibility
