Job summary

Austal USA in Mobile, AL is seeking a provisioning specialist to lead Logistics Support Information development and standardization across ILS activities. You will interface with design engineering and suppliers to assemble standard components, review manuals, and process change orders affecting provisioning.

The role requires 5–7 years of Navy/MSC provisioning experience, ability to read OEM drawings, and strong communication across Supply Chain and Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of provisioning experience on Navy/MSC contracts.
• Experience reading OEM drawings and parts lists to determine repairable parts.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience interacting with Supply Chain, Engineering and multiple design teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare LSI data and provisioning deliverables.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Engineering on equipment proposals (COTS vs provisioned).
• Interface with OEMs/Suppliers to obtain vendor furnished information.
• Cross-train within ILS as needed.
• Ensure accurate parts information in technical manuals.
