Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or BA highly preferred and comfortable with classroom settings.
• Comfort with autism and social‑emotional disabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt daily tasks.
• Physical ability to manage students if needed.

Responsibilities

• Tutor individual students under the direction of academic staff.
• Support students in ILP and mainstream classes.
• Facilitate implementation of strategies and interventions for academic and physical needs.
• Implement social/emotional intervention plans developed by the team.
• Provide coverage for staff when needed.
• Communicate with staff regarding student progress.
• Monitor attendance of all ILP students.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding attendance.
• Attend staff/community meetings and other duties as assigned.
