Job summary

Boardwalk Pipelines is seeking an ILI Technical Specialist for its Houston, TX or Baton Rouge, LA office. You will verify and interpret ILI data, support integrity assessments, and prepare technical documentation for management and stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, experience with ILI tools, and strong communication and data analysis skills. This position offers a chance to work across regulatory frameworks and develop ILI policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Integrity Management and 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195.
• Aptitude and drive to learn ILI technology and data analysis.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications and large datasets.
• Ability to present technical information and recommendations to all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Verify and evaluate ILI data and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
• Analyze assessment results and recommend excavations in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
• Prepare, review, and audit assessment reports and project documentation.
• Perform remaining strength calculations and support repair recommendations.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues related to ILI data, tool performance, and excavation findings.
• Develop and maintain ILI-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Support the planning, execution, and validation of ILI inspections and provide technical support on ILI technology, data interpretation, and integrity assessments.
