Job summary

Jonus Group is seeking an experienced claims professional to join our team in Detroit. The role focuses on evaluating and processing Illinois and Wisconsin workers' compensation claims, performing thorough investigations, and coordinating with medical professionals, legal teams, and insurers to determine the best course of action.

With 3-5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or related work background, you will handle claim negotiations, updates, and settlements while staying

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience handling IL/IN Workers Compensation/Indemnity claims.
• Active Adjuster's License is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process Illinois and Wisconsin workers' compensation claims in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough investigations to determine the validity of claims.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, legal teams, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information.
• Communicate effectively with claimants, employers, and insurance providers to provide updates and address inquiries.
• Negotiate settlements and manage litigation when necessary.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, legal changes, and best practices in workers' compensation.
