Now Hiring Cooks! Any experience with breakfast restaurants is a plus, but not required. We will train you to be part of our team and succeed in your position. With a positive attitude, hunger to grow, and ability to move with a sense of urgency, anything is possible.

As a cook, you will create the food our customers love, including a wide variety of meals that keep them coming back for more. You will set up equipment, verify stock, and maintain a clean and sanitary work area.

Skills Needed

• Ability to read and prepare all food recipes to IHOP specifications
• Ability to prepare food within outlined ticket times
• Ability to read food tickets or receive verbal instructions
• Capable of using knives and other food preparation equipment
• Operate large volume cooking equipment like flat tops, deep fryers, stoves, and dishwashers

Requirements

A qualified applicant believes in showing up to work on time, is well-groomed with a clean uniform, and is ready to work! They must work well with others, be self-motivated, reliable, and have a strong work ethic.

This position requires standing for up to 8 hours during a shift, the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and full mobility of hands and arms while performing repetitive tasks.
