Job summary

GTT is seeking an Associate Scientist - IHC for an on-site role in South San Francisco, CA. The position focuses on developing tissue-based assays (IHC, multiplex) to support portfolio-related questions on target expression and preclinical model development.

Ideal candidates hold BS/MS in cellular or molecular biology with strong hands-on pathology/IHC experience, including staining and image analysis, and familiarity with Ventana or Leica BOND platforms. Role is 90% lab time and fully on-site.

Qualifications

BS or MS in cellular biology, molecular biology, or related life science discipline.
Hands-on IHC experience with single-plex and multiplex assays.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement histopathology assays including IHC, ISH, and immunofluorescent methods.
Perform image analysis and data interpretation.
Collaborate with Pathologists and Scientists on multiple projects to deliver data.
Present data and maintain documentation in LIMS/databases.
Own 30% of assigned project activities and deliverables.
