Job summary

Eaton is seeking an IGX Wireboards Technician II for 2nd shift at our Greenwood, SC location. You will assemble, wire, and modify components for medium- and high-voltage assemblies, following drawings and instructions from supervisors.

Training on first shift for ~90 days is offered, with a shift differential and eligibility for a variable incentive program. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and experience with hand and pneumatic tools.

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a IGX Wireboards, Technician II, 2nd Shift, G2 Location at our new location at 517 Puckett Ferry Road in Greenwood, SC.The rate for this position is $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 4:30 pm until 1:30 am and Friday from 3:30 pm until 7:30 pm. Please note that during the first approximately 90 days, training will take place on first shift hours.This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:In the Assembly Techician II role, you will assemble, wire, and modify components according to established guidelines for medium- and high‑voltage indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and related sub‑assemblies.Follow manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and written or verbal instructions from supervisors or team leads in accordance with established procedures.Complete ISO, quality, customer, and production checklists, along with feedback forms, for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering as required.Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations as needed.Regularly lift and assemble heavy copper components.Report Kanban inventory shortages to the appropriate operators.Inspect assemblies for missing or loose hardware and ensure overall cleanliness.Respond to change notices, customer‑requested adjustments, and development updates.Support engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer‑driven development work.Train and coach colleagues to support knowledge transfer and skill development.This job posting describes the general nature and level of work being performed and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, or skills required.
