Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Greenwood, SC, is hiring an IGX Rears Technician III for 2nd shift at our new facility. The base pay is $20.94 per hour with a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Core hours are Mon–Thu 4:30 pm–1:30 am and Fri 3:30 pm–7:30 pm; training on first shift occurs during the initial ~90 days. You’ll assemble, wire, fit, and modify complex assemblies for medium/high voltage equipment, perform production and quality documentation, install equipment, and support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of assembly experience.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles considered.
• Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from geographic area limitation.

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a IGX Rears, Technician III, 2nd Shift , G2 Location at our new location at 517 Puckett Ferry Road in Greenwood, SC.

The rate for this position is $20.94 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 4:30 pm until 1:30 am and Friday from 3:30 pm until 7:30 pm. Please note that during the first approximately 90 days, training will take place on first shift hours.

This position is eligible for a variable pay incentive.

What you’ll do:

In the Assembly Technician role, you assemble, wire, fit, and modify complicated work in the manufacture of medium and high voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and any sub-assemblies associated with these.

In this function, you will:

• Assemble, wire, fit, and modify work in complicated assemblies above the typical complexity.
• Fill out ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.
• Regularly lift and assemble with heavy copper parts.
• Maintain minimum levels of Kanban inventory and report shortages to appropriate operators.
• Inspect all assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness
• Respond to change notices, customer requested adjustments, and development needs.
• Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer-initiated development work.
• Work to manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, written or oral instructions from supervision or Engineering to established procedures.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of assembly experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of Industrial manufacturing experience
• 1 year of experience using hand and air tools
• Strong experience in reading Manufacturing Information (MI)
• South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent

Position Criteria:

• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime to support business needs.
• Able to safely and effectively use various hand tools, power tools, step ladders, and cranes to assemble units.
• Proficient in standard computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook and job‑specific software such as Enovia.

Work Environment:

• Regular exposure to manufacturing noise.
