Job summary

Accrescent Group is seeking an experienced MES Business Analyst with hands-on Ignition expertise to support design, enhancement, and deployment of MES across manufacturing sites. This role bridges operations, IT/OT and technical delivery teams, translating manufacturing needs into scalable MES capabilities.

The ideal candidate understands shopfloor processes, MES concepts, and Ignition-based architectures, and can work across multiple plants and stakeholders to drive standardized MES solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of MES concepts and Ignition-based architectures.
• Experience translating manufacturing needs into MES capabilities.
• Ability to work across plants and with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Capture and manage business and functional requirements for Ignition-based MES solutions.
• Translate use cases into user stories, specs, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with operations, IT/OT and delivery teams to standardize MES across sites.
• Support configuration and deployment of Ignition MES modules (production, tracking, analytics, data collection).
• Model data and tag structures; integrate with PLCs, historians, ERP, and systems.
• Ensure solutions align with architecture standards and cybersecurity requirements.
