TCI Technology Consulting Inc. is seeking an Ignition and Controls MES Technician to support manufacturing operations in Jeffersonville, IN.

This contract-to-hire role focuses on maintaining the Ignition MES platform, troubleshooting PLCs/HMIs, and ensuring accurate production data and downtime tracking across third-shift operations. You will work with Production, Maintenance, Controls Engineering, IT, Quality, and Operations leadership to resolve issues, implement changes, and maintain system

Competenze

Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Automation or related field.
Experience supporting the Ignition platform or another MES.
Familiarity with Ignition Perspective, Vision, Tag Historian, alarms, and reporting.
Experience with PLCs, SQL, and industrial networks.
On-site work in Jeffersonville, IN.

Mansioni

Troubleshoot and support PLCs, HMIs, sensors, networks, drives, and production equipment.
Monitor the Ignition MES platform including dashboards, status, downtime tracking.
Diagnose controls, MES, database, network, and system communication issues.
Support production scheduling, work orders, OEE, quality and material tracking.
Perform approved PLC, HMI, Ignition changes, backups, testing, and documentation.
Support integrations between equipment, MES, SQL databases, ERP and enterprise systems.
Respond to support requests, identify root causes, restore functionality, escalate if needed.
Assist with startups, changeovers, maintenance, testing and commissioning.
Maintain system docs, logs and support tickets.
Follow safety, cybersecurity, backup and change-management procedures.
