Job summary

Twist Bioscience seeks a Manufacturing Associate for IgG Production in a highly automated, high-throughput lab in Wilsonville, OR. You will produce diverse IgG antibody products and follow established SOPs while operating sensitive equipment within a cleanroom environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, meticulous documentation, and adherence to GMP/ISO practices in a fast-paced startup setting. You will contribute to daily production schedules and reagent handling.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing or lab environment is desirable.
• Good written and verbal skills are critical.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high quality custom products in a high throughput MFG lab according to SOPs.
• Operate lab equipment and liquid handling robots (Hamilton Stars, bioanalyzers, centrifuges, sealers, thermocyclers, spectrometers, Illumina sequencers).
• Apply PCR, DNA quantitation, purification and cloning techniques.
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation using templates and software.
• Update and write work instructions and documentation.
• Work independently and safely, with attention to detail.
• Assist Leads/Supervisors with troubleshooting and deviations.
• Package/organize products for shipping.
• Follow GMP and ISO practices; support lean manufacturing.
• Complete daily tasks to keep manufacturing schedule on track.
