Job summary

The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking an Executive I to serve as a sourcing specialist for intergovernmental agreements (IGAs). The role will process Anticipation of Litigation procurements in coordination with the Office of Legal Services, and provide technical assistance on intergovernmental and litigation procurements.

Qualifications

• Requires four (4) years of college with coursework in business or public administration.
• Requires one (1) year of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization, or completion of an agency approved professional management training program.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing specialist for intergovernmental agreements (IGAs).
• Process Anticipation of Litigation procurements under 30 ILCS 500/1-13(b)(7).
• Provide technical assistance on intergovernmental and litigation procurements.
• Coordinate compliance, documentation, and reporting for intergovernmental and litigation procurement activity.
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
