Job summary

GM Performance Power Units (GMPPU) seeks a seasoned IFS ERP Business Analyst to support and expand our IFS Cloud environment, focusing on Finance while enabling cross-functional processes in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and more.

The role requires translating business needs into ERP solutions, configuring IFS modules, and driving continuous improvement through implementations, upgrades, testing, and user training. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5+ years of ERP Business Analyst experience with exposure to Finance processes.
• Hands-on experience supporting, implementing, or optimizing IFS Applications (IFS Cloud preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and financial controls.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into ERP solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing and new finance-related business processes and translate requirements into scalable IFS functional solutions.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, internal controls, and reporting capabilities.
• Map business processes and document functional requirements, workflows, and solution designs.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement ERP-enabled process improvements.
