Job summary

Toyota Tsusho America in Kentucky seeks an Accounting Manager to lead an accounting group, ensure IFRS-compliant financial statements, and partner with SBU, Division and Corporate Accounting. You will train and mentor direct reports, review entries, balance sheet and inventory reconciliations, and manage the monthly close process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years supervising accounting staff.
• Familiarity with IFRS accounting standards required.

Responsibilities

• Manages staffing and resource planning for the accounting groups and leads hiring processes.
• Oversees monthly close, IFRS-compliant reporting, and review of entries and reconciliations.
• Ensures internal controls and accurate reporting across IFRS and SOPs.
• Supports audits and remediation of findings; ensures compliance across jurisdictions.
• Plays a key role in training, development, and mentoring of staff.
