Job summary

Air Methods Pilots is seeking an IFR RW Check Airman to serve as company instructor responsible for oversight, safety, and qualification of pilots undergoing evaluation. The role includes classroom, aircraft, and simulator training, with emphasis on compliance with general operations and FAA policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication is required.
  • Experience implementing training programs (initial and recurrent).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate safety and compliance across flight operations and maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct initial and recurrent ground and flight training.
  • Provide oversight for transitions, ROC checks, and differences training.
  • Develop and implement flight and ground training schedules.
  • Maintain pilot records and ensure adherence to FARs and policies.
  • Operate training devices and full flight simulators as needed.
  • Assist in developing aircraft checklists and training programs.
