Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong instructional skills in special education, including adapted curriculum.
• Experience with developing and monitoring IEPs and progress reporting.
• Experience with behavior support strategies and inclusive learning environments.
• Effective collaboration with families, school staff and external providers.
• Hold or be eligible for NC licensure in Exceptional Children or Special Education; adapted curriculum endorsement preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet timelines and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrates cultural responsiveness and commitment to equity and student-centered practices.
• Experience in a public school setting and familiarity with IDEA/504 and related regulations.
