Job summary

A local school district is seeking a Case Manager/IEP Writer to coordinate the IEP process, including writing the IEP and leading meetings. The successful candidate will require an Illinois LBS1 Certificate and must preferably have 2 years of experience in instructional roles. This position offers $32 per hour based on the number of students assigned and requires excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Illinois LBS1 Certificate/Licensure and meet highly qualified status.
• Preferably 2 years of instructional or resource experience, except for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the IEP process, writing IEPs and facilitating meetings.
• Support completion of progress monitoring.
• Consult with staff about student needs.
• Schedule parent communication for IEP processes.
• Lead IEP meetings.
• Support data collection for IEPs.
• Ensure compliance with special education requirements.
• Prepare materials for annual reviews.
• Communicate strategies and accommodations to staff.
