Ergon, Inc - Refining & Marketing seeks an IEC Tech I in Vicksburg, MS to support the IEC Maintenance Department with repair, installation, and calibration of refinery and terminal IEC equipment. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and teamwork with colleagues and customers.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, IEC Helper qualifications, and a valid driver's license; completion of an FCE is also required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent and meeting IEC Helper qualifications.
Strong communication skills recommended.
A valid driver's license must be maintained.
Must successfully complete and pass a Functional Job Capacity Evaluation (FCE).

Responsibilities

Must successfully complete Emergency Response Training and perform duties as assigned.
Keep safe work habits as the highest priority at all times.
Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace at all times.
Strive to develop good working relationships with all co-workers, customers and associates.
Assist in performance of preventive maintenance on all IEC related equipment.
Assist in repair and maintenance of steam systems.
Assist in installation of conduit and wiring.
Assist in installation and repair of electric heat tracing.
Assist in installation and maintenance of instrument tubing.
Assist in troubleshooting and repair of control valves, regulators, heater control panels, motor controls, transmitters and other IEC related equipment.
