Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking an IE&C Manager to oversee the Instruments, Electrical Systems & Controls function at the Lake Charles Petro & Poly Sites. You will develop, implement and administer IE&C policies, focusing on maintenance, reliability and DCS/APC operations to improve plant performance.

The role requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, 10 years’ experience in instrument and controls maintenance, and proven leadership, analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in instrument and controls maintenance in chemical/petrochemical plants.
• Demonstrated managerial, analytical and communication skills.
• Background in safety, budgeting and cost control processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead IE&C function for Lake Charles Petro & Poly Sites.
• Develop long-term reliability plans for IE&C/DCS/APC.
• Approve SOPs and purchasing requisitions for IE&C department.
• Prepare yearly IE&C budget and monitor monthly cost reports in SAP.
• Oversee cost control and post-T/A outage work.
• Collaborate with operations to prioritize IE&C maintenance.
