Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a skilled professional to manage IDMC and Snowflake governance in a dynamic dataOps environment in Houston, TX. The role focuses on org-level governance, Secure Agent management, and connector configurations, ensuring secure, reliable data operations.

The candidate should have 3+ years in Snowflake administration, IDMC/IICS experience, and strong SQL skills. Exposure to Databricks/Azure data services is a plus, with a focus on performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years administering Snowflake (roles, grants, warehouses, RBAC/DAC, performance).
• Hands-on IDMC/IICS administration across orgs, Secure Agents, connectors, schedules, asset migration, and monitoring.
• Exposure to integrations in modern data stacks (e.g., Databricks, Azure data services).
• Technical skills include Snowflake security model, SQL, and administrative tooling (IDMC Admin service, REST APIs).
• Networking basics for Secure Agents, SAML/SCIM, and CI/CD for data assets.

Responsibilities

• Administer IDMC and Snowflake governance, orgs, licenses, roles, and permissions.
• Configure connectors and runtime environments, manage Secure Agents, upgrades, and logs.
• Manage asset lifecycle, CI/CD, and schedule orchestration; monitor performance.
• Ensure governance, logging, and security across data platforms.
• Support audits and policy enforcement across platforms.
