Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in New York seeks an experienced IDMC/Snowflake administrator to own org/user governance, runtime environments, and secure data operations. You will deploy Secure Agents, configure connectors, and manage RBAC/DAC across IDMC and Snowflake to ensure secure, cost-efficient data platforms.

Responsibilities include enforcing trusted access, scripting REST APIs for automation, monitoring performance, and collaborating with data engineering, security, and operations teams to meet

Qualifications

• 3+ years administering Snowflake (roles, grants, warehouses, RBAC/DAC)
• Hands-on IDMC/IICS administration across orgs, Secure Agents, connectors, schedules, asset migration, monitoring
• Exposure to integrations in modern data stacks (e.g., Databricks, Azure data services) is a plus
• Technical skills include Snowflake security model, IDMC Administrator service, REST APIs, CI/CD for data assets

Responsibilities

• IDMC Organization & Access Management: administer orgs, licenses, global settings, roles, permissions
• IDMC Runtime & Connectivity: deploy Secure Agents, manage environments, upgrades, logs
• IDMC Asset & Operations Management: governance of projects, CI/CD, migrations
• Snowflake Administration & Security: design RBAC, provision users, manage warehouses
• Performance, Reliability, and Cost: monitor performance, optimize compute and metering
• Automation & APIs: use IDMC REST APIs for org/user; script Snowflake grants
• Compliance & Governance: support audits and policy enforcement
