Palace Entertainment is a leading leisure park operator in the United States and Australia overseeing more than 25 entertainment venues, hotels and educational venues across 11 different states.

The Admissions Department is responsible for delivering amazing customer service and maintaining exceptional first impressions for both prospective and existing guests.

The Admissions Attendant is responsible for assisting with greeting guests, selling and redeeming admission tickets and passes, processing season passes, and assisting guests with service requests.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome guests to the park in a warm and friendly manner.
  2. Courteously assist guests with questions and complaints.
  3. Sell and collect tickets and season passes.
  4. Utilize Point of Sale (POS) equipment to accurately record financial transactions.
  5. Scan all passes, tickets, and wristbands to ensure accurate attendance and valid guest entry.
  6. Answer guest questions and/or escalate these questions and concerns to the appropriate Guest Experience team members.
  7. Assist guests with entry, exit, and reentry to the park.
  8. Maintain a clean work Main Gate operation (wiping down counters, vacuuming, sweeping, picking up trash, etc.) to maintain a great first impression for incoming guests.
  9. Replenish Park maps while maintaining a clean work area.
  10. Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests.
  11. Promptly notify the security team or the operator of team member and guest injuries or emergencies.
  12. Assist in other departments as needed.
  13. All other duties assigned by leadership.

Education & Experience:

  1. No education requirements for this role.
  2. No previous work experience needed.
  3. Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Requirements:

  1. Must be at least 14 years of age to comply with Pennsylvania Child Labor Laws.
  2. Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  3. Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift.
  4. Ability to comply with all uniform policies.
  5. Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner.
  6. Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday.
  2. Ability to frequently stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders.
  3. Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 20 pounds or more.

Working Conditions:

  1. Subject to frequent exposure to outdoor areas of the park.
  2. Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions.
  3. Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities.
