Job summary

EY in the United States seeks an Identity Verification Engineer to design and implement identity proofing workflows using 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID platforms. You will configure biometric verification, liveness detection, and passwordless authentication while ensuring compliance with NIST 800-63.

Responsibilities include integrating IAM tools, onboarding diverse user groups, and maintaining platform health across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, information security, information systems, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of IAM experience.
• 2+ years hands-on 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID implementation.
• Experience with passwordless authentication and biometric verification.

Responsibilities

• Design identity proofing workflows using 1Kosmos or Microsoft Verified ID platforms.
• Configure and support document verification, biometric authentication, facial recognition, liveness detection, and identity controls.
• Implement IAL2-grade proofing per NIST 800-63 guidelines.
• Onboard employees, contractors, vendors, and privileged users.
• Configure 1Kosmos BlockID and related services; manage enrollment and policies.
• Integrate IAM platforms (SailPoint, Okta, etc.) and ITSM tools; monitor health and troubleshoot.
