Job summary

Altria Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Identity & Privileged Access Governance to shape identity risk management across the enterprise.

You will define governance strategy, policies, and controls for IAM/PAM, collaborating with Identity Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, HR, Internal/External Audit, and business teams to reduce risk. The role combines leadership with strategic influence, developing talent and delivering measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Set IAM/PAM governance strategy, policy, and multi-year roadmap.
• Define ownership and access controls across business and tech teams.
• Lead governance for identity lifecycle, access certification, and privileged accounts.
• Advise on privileged account governance and credential protections.
• Drive audit readiness and risk-reduction reporting to executives.
• Modernize identity controls with automation and continuous monitoring.
• Expand governance for non-human identities like service accounts and bots.
• Develop governance talent and align leadership perspectives across units.
