Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Technical Identity Fraud Analytics Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytical solutions that detect, prevent, and investigate identity fraud for clients. You will bridge data science, software engineering, and cybersecurity to transform massive datasets into actionable intelligence protecting digital identities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a similar technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, machine learning, or analytics focused on fraud detection/risk/identity & access management.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and at least one additional language (Scala/Java/C++).
• Experience with Spark or Hadoop and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with predictive modeling, anomaly detection, network/graph analysis, statistics, identity lifecycle, KYC/AML, OAuth or SAML.
• Ability to travel ~15% on average.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Hybrid work model: commute to US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize ML models and heuristics to detect identity fraud vectors.
• Develop scalable data pipelines for high-volume real-time logs and transactions.
• Advise stakeholders on IAM and IDV to strengthen authentication systems.
• Perform forensic analysis and translate findings into new features for detection engines.
• Integrate third-party and proprietary fraud APIs into enterprise architecture.
• Establish metrics and dashboards to monitor model performance and fraud capture rates.
• Lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
