Job summary

Dentsu International Americas, LLC is seeking an Identity Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain Snowflake-based pipelines processing consumer and household identity data. You will write complex SQL and Python to transform, deduplicate, and enrich data, while investigating anomalies and tracing decisions to source signals.

You will collaborate with Data Science and Product, enhance AI-assisted matching, and ensure robust validation tooling and documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data engineering or software engineering experience.
• Strong Python skills, clean, well-structured code.
• Deep Snowflake fluency: data modeling, querying, and Snowpark for Python-native workloads.
• Strong SQL fundamentals with large, real-world datasets.
• Experience or curiosity around identity matching, deduplication, or data quality at scale.
• Familiarity with PII data governance and privacy best practices.
• Experience with version control (Git), Agile delivery, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfort applying AI tools in day-to-day engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Snowflake-based pipelines producing core identity assets.
• Write SQL and Python to transform, deduplicate, and enrich identity data.
• Investigate data anomalies and surface root causes for quality issues.
• Build data models representing consumer and household identity linkage.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Product to translate identity requirements into solutions.
• Enhance matching engine with AI-driven and rule-based improvements; evaluate impact.
• Develop evaluation tooling and dashboards for match quality and regression tests.
• Document data models and pipeline logic for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support QA processes and on-call responsibilities for production pipelines.
