Job summary

MACOM in Lowell, MA is seeking an Associate Security Engineer focused on identity and communications. You will automate the Joiner/Mover/Leaver workflows, manage Active Directory/Entra ID, and help implement SSO and MFA integrations while protecting user communications.

You will spend time on platform engineering and strategic architecture to enforce zero-trust identity policies, RBAC templates, and device posture; collaboration with Security and Helpdesk is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in IT Support, Systems Administration, or End-User Services.
• Strong understanding of user pain points.
• Experience with Active Directory and endpoint troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Map, streamline, and automate the Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) identity lifecycle workflows.
• Maintain enterprise directory hygiene and assist with SSO and MFA integrations.
• Draft standardized RBAC templates to simplify onboarding.
• Oversee email security gateways and PAM tooling deployment.
