Job summary

MACOM, a global leader in semiconductors, seeks an Associate Security Engineer – Identity & Comms. You will own the human element of security, automate identity lifecycle, protect user communications, and enforce endpoint compliance, bridging Security and Helpdesk.

In Platform Engineering (80%) you will streamline JML workflows, maintain AD/Entra ID hygiene, and deploy email security gateways; in Strategic Architecture (20%) you will define zero-trust baselines, build conditional access, and

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in IT support or end-user services.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, user lifecycles, and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Ability to document IT processes and learn SSO automation scripting.

Responsibilities

• Automate Joiner/Mover/Leaver identity lifecycles.
• Maintain directory hygiene and assist with SSO and MFA integrations.
• Deploy PAM tools to reduce standing local admin rights.
• Define RBAC templates for onboarding.
