Job summary

PayPal is seeking a senior product manager on the Authentication team to own the login experience across PayPal surfaces, advancing MFA, device trust, and risk signals while reducing friction and boosting global conversion.

You will drive a scalable identity strategy across geographies and devices, leading cross-functional teams through influence, with a strong emphasis on regulatory and technical alignment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building consumer or B2C software with hands-on Identity or Authentication product experience.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-63, FTC, MFA, and EU SCA/PSD2 authentication standards.
• Background in eCommerce, FinTech, or banking is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Drives product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders aligned with the product vision.
• Plans and implements the architectural roadmap balancing innovative design and regulatory requirements.
• Assesses customer experience and needs in product requirements and decision making.
• Sets up data gathering mechanisms relative to metrics for usability studies, research and market analysis.
• Leads workstreams for analytics, market research, and competitive analysis to drive data-driven decisions.
• Oversees product profitability and budgeting.
