Job summary

AV is seeking an experienced Identity and Systems Administrator/Analyst to manage identity and access controls, Okta, and Windows-based infrastructure. The role focuses on automating onboarding/offboarding, supporting RBAC, and maintaining AD and native Windows server environments.

Collaboration with security and IT teams is essential to ensure compliant access governance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Okta or IAM concepts, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant experience in identity management, systems administration, IT operations, or a related field.
• Experience administering Okta or a comparable identity management platform.
• Understanding of role-based access control, least privilege, group-based access, and access governance concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory administration.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server environments.
• Experience managing file-sharing systems, folder permissions, and security groups.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support identity and access management solutions, including Okta.
• Maintain application assignments, access policies, groups, roles, and authentication requirements.
• Configure and support RBAC based on job responsibilities and least privilege.
• Support single sign-on, MFA, federation, and app integrations.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and provisioning issues.
• Monitor automated identity lifecycle processes and resolve workflow failures.
• Review configurations for security, consistency, and compliance.
• Participate in access reviews and audits.
• Collaborate with IT teams to map requirements to roles and permissions.
• Assist with AD administration and Windows server infrastructure.
• Support Windows-based endpoint environment and limited macOS/Linux systems.
