Job summary

State Farm is seeking an Identity & Access Control Analyst with a software development background to join the Authorization Management team. The role focuses on designing and developing identity and access management solutions across the enterprise, including RBAC design, automation, and integrations with cloud platforms.

The position is hybrid with hub locations in Dunwoody, GA; Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ; or Bloomington, IL, and requires eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Prior software development experience.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• CI/CD pipelines & automation tools.
• Frontend frameworks: React, Angular.
• Source control: Git, GitLab.
• Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash, NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation and self-service strategies; build IAM tools.
• Develop and test security solutions and governance.
• Maintain identity and access control strategy and procedures.
• Apply IAM concepts per industry standards and compliance.
• Research emerging IAM topics and solutions.
• Collaborate with tech teams to integrate IAM into solutions.
• Design RBAC roles for applications.
• Maintain knowledge of cloud/DevOps practices and tools.
• Build secure APIs and services; support certification and tooling.
• Ensure auditability and evidence retention; production support.
