Job summary

GEICO seeks an experienced Staff Engineer to solve complex Identity and Access Management challenges. You will lead a technical IAM roadmap to increase delivery speed and unlock security capabilities across the organization.

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and auditors to design scalable architectures, implement REST APIs, and ensure secure authentication across Linux, Mac, Windows, and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with identity products and protocols (Active Directory, Kerberos, LDAP, SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC).
• Experience building security systems with micro-services and REST APIs.
• Ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, teams, customers, and other engineering groups to solve complex IAM problems.
• Develop and execute technical IAM strategies across all identity security services and systems.
• Own accountability for quality, usability, and performance of solutions.
• Share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.
• Take on-call and operational support for IAM platforms.
